Habashi Square - Shrapnel

The story: The moon was destroyed by an asteroid, causing meteors and moon debris, that contains valuable resource called 'Sigma, to hit earth in an area called the sacrifice zone. Japan happened to be in that zone. This the Habashi square in Japan, it was left abandoned by its citizens and became a battlefield for corporations and mercenaries who are after the valuable resource.
I was The Lead Environment Artist on this project. With my Art Director Jay Prochaska, I ensured visual style guidance and consistency.
I oversaw the asset creation process, technical integrity and optimization. Provided constant feedback on asset style, quality and fidelity. The finished Environment art was mostly done by the Sperasoft team. I recreated assets from the marketplace by cleaning up the models retexturing it in Substance painter to fit our visual target, I designed buildings using the Sperasoft modular kit. Vehicle art by Sperasoft, Danny Rodriguez and Patrick Hudon. Some of the billboard graphics were done by Duane Santos. Map set dressing by Sperasoft, Jay Prochaska and Myself.
